Get into the Christmas Spirit with Christmas music and carol singing, followed by a festive reception (with mulled wine)! The Wassail at Christ Church Beaurepaire is a traditional community event for people of all ages! The Wassail 2024 will have a special feature: a sing-along Hallelujah chorus from Handel’s Messiah, in collaboration with All Saints by the Lake (Dorval)! Bring along your family, friends and neighbours! All donations will go towards Christ Church's Christmas Basket Program for needy families. For people who would like to join in the Hallelujah chorus (SATB) there will be a short optional rehearsal at 6:30 (copies of music will be available, but you can also bring your own or download the score). Otherwise, just come and sing! There will be a list of approx. 50 well known songs and you will have an opportunity to request the ones you like, and we will sing them together!

When: Friday, December 6, 7 pm (optional rehearsal for people singing the Hallelujah chorus at 6:30 pm)

Entrez dans l'esprit de Noël avec de la musique de Noël et des chants de Noël, suivis d'une réception festive (avec vin chaud) ! Le Wassail à Christ Church Beaurepaire est un événement communautaire traditionnel pour les personnes de tous âges ! Le Wassail 2024 aura une particularité : le chœur de l’Alleluia de Messiah (Haendel) — présenté en collaboration avec l’église All Saints by the Lake (Dorval)! Amenez votre famille, vos amis et vos voisins ! Tous les dons seront versés au programme de paniers de Noël de Christ Church pour les familles dans le besoin. Pour les personnes souhaitant se joindre pour chanter le chœur de l’Alleluia de Messiah (SATB), il y aura une courte répétition facultative à 18h30 (des copies de la musique vont être disponibles, mais vous pouvez télécharger / imprimer votre propre copie). Sinon, juste venez chanter ! Il y aura une liste d'env. 50 chansons connues et vous aurez la possibilité de demander celles que vous aimez, et nous les chanterons ensemble !
